2 month check up today!

Chloe went to her 2 month well check appointment today, and did very well.  She is 23 1/2" long (2 inches longer from her 1 month check up), 11 lbs 3 oz (1 1/2 lbs bigger) and her head grew 1/4".  Overall, Chloe is a healthy baby girl and developing perfectly.  She also received 4 immunizations today, and did very well. We're so proud of our little angel!

Last Weekend

Shane went on his annual football trip with the guys to Kansas City.  They watched the Chiefs vs. the Chargers.  Kary came to watch Chloe while I worked on Saturday.  They had a good time and we all had a great visit on Sunday.

Pictures I love today!

I love Chloe's little feet & shoes!

A Happy Moment!

Well...I made it!

I made it through my first week at work after maternity leave.  It was a little tough, and I missed my baby girl A LOT.  It made coming home very sweet.  Chloe seems to be doing well with Jillian...so far, so good!

Here's Chloe taking a nap...

Here's Chloe cooking dinner with Shane! She's a natural! (The stove was turned off by the way!)

My Favorite Pictures (for Today!)

Daddy's songs

Chloe loves to listen to her daddy sing!  Her favorite song is "One for my Baby" by Frank Sinatra, but she also likes "You Belong to Me" by Dean Martin and "All my Lovin'" by the Beatles.  You can see in this picture how intently Chloe is listening to Shane!  Last week I was driving from my sister's house to my mom's house, and Chloe was crying in the car.  I called Shane, put him on speakerphone, and he started singing "One for my Baby" and in seconds she stopped crying!  Chloe sure loves her Daddy!

Today is my last day of Maternity Leave :(

I'm sad today...it's my last day of maternity leave.  I've truly enjoyed spending so much time with my little girl, and I'm reluctant about going back to work.  Knowing she will be in good hands while I'm gone and in a familiar environment is making it easier but...I get a little teary eyed thinking about my first day back.  I'm sure I will make a visit home on my lunch breaks - I will miss her so!
